This isn't just a story. This is our future.
You know where that title comes from? Well, it comes from a game, by Quanticdream: Detroit Become Human. THIS GAME, this game, simply ticks all the boxes for me. Dunno about you but seriously, just WOW.
So this game has been made by a developer we have briefly
known of, as a result of a game called 'Heavy Rain'. However, unfortunately, I've not gone looking into the campaign of this game, but from what I hear, and seen from about 10 minutes of crisp 720p 2010 game-play, it seems pretty good. But since I'm INSANELY lazy I can't really be bothered to look back at the campaign, so I don't truly know the performance of this game. So then I would definitely like to see some opinions of the game in the comments. :) But anyway, back to topic.
To start off with, you can REALLY see that this game was one heap of hard-work for Quanticdream. Graphics, story- especially, contribute to the beauty of this game. It is possible I would say that this thing, this thing could be my TOP GAME of the year.
Even from the start, when the demo came out, I believe in about May or something like that, I saw the quality of this game. The characters are brilliant in this game, there is such a personal feel to these guys, almost as if you know them, you know who they are. The story is definitely of one for people who wear hearts on their sleeves to shed tears.
Towards the end the story really begins to pick-up. For a number of scenarios it will have your mouth to the floor. Its also, cool how all MAIN characters can meet up at one point. But trust me, some of these choices are real moral dilemmas, what makes it worse, in turn, makes this game more in depth, is that there is no just 'pressing restart' if you get something wrong. No. You carry on.
The city looks vibrant, and the motion-capture is brilliant, and you really can affect and witness relationships build between characters. Even of two, by a character's preference, a human named Lieutenant Hank, having to be forced to work with a lovely android, Connor. But I won't reveal too much, but if you love in-depth story, trust me, you'll probably love this one. Also, if you actually are going to watch the whole story unfold, as the revolution takes place under your choices or someone else's, I do recommend watching GameRiot playing the game, from 'Part 1' to the end. Also, the 'Best Ending ???' is quite cool too. I'll link the 'Part 1' of Detroit Become Human, on GameRiot's channel.
Also, think why the 'Detroit Become Human' has that, 'Become Human' bit. You'll see. If your PC/computer can handle it, watch it in 4K, your eyes will be blessed.
